Seeking Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join Surgical Oncology team in Cooperstown, New York
Position Highlights:
Join established General Surgery team including:
- 10 Surgeons
- 6 Advanced Practice Clinicians
Integral role assisting Surgical Oncology and Robotic Surgery team
Opportunity for operative first assist responsibilities
Combination of surgical, inpatient, and outpatient responsibilities
Optional call coverage with additional stipend
Academic healthcare network affiliated with Columbia University
New graduates encouraged to apply
Responsibilities:
First assist in oncologic and robotic surgical procedures
Provide inpatient rounding, admissions, and consultations
Participate in outpatient clinic coverage as needed
Collaborate with multidisciplinary surgical and oncology teams
Maintain accurate and timely documentation
Qualifications:
Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner certification required
Surgical experience preferred but not required
Active New York license or ability to obtain
Compensation & Benefits:
Competitive compensation range: $135,000 - $155,000 plus productivity incentives
Optional call coverage stipend up to $20,000 annually
Sign-on bonus up to $50,000
