Assignment Details
* Setting: Inpatient
* Coverage Type: Scheduled Clinical Hours
* Role: Trauma and Acute Care Surgery Nocturnist
* EMR: Epic
Requirements
* Active CO license
* NCCPA Certified
* Certifications: BLS
* Clean history
* Eligible for DEA and Medicare/Medicaid provider status
* NPDB Self Query report within the past 30 days
* No sanctions or exclusions from HHS/OIG or GSA
* Minimum 2 years trauma surgery experience or completion of surgical fellowship
Clinical Details
* Overnight trauma and acute care surgery coverage
* Management of trauma admissions and emergency general surgery patients
* Inpatient surgical patient management
* Evaluation and development of treatment plans
* Interpretation of diagnostic studies
* Assistance with trauma resuscitation and operative support
* Collaboration with multidisciplinary trauma and surgical teams
* Maintenance of clinical documentation and workflows in Epic Estimated pay range/amount is TBD.
