Job description
A Transplant Physician Assistant is needed for an inpatient liver transplant service in New York. The provider will perform overnight coverage including rounding, admissions, and pre-operative workups for transplant candidates.
Job Responsibilities
• Perform physical examinations
• Admit transplant candidates
• Pre-operative transplant workups
• Write H&P and event notes
• Update patient handoffs
• Provide verbal morning handoff
• Epic EMR documentation
Qualifications
• Active New York license required
• Minimum 2 years inpatient transplant experience
• ACLS certification required
• BLS certification required
• Epic experience preferred
Working Hours
6:30 PM – 7:00 AM
