Required Skills:
- Minimum of 3 years of surgical experience as a Physician Assistant
- Current PA license and DEA registration
- Proficiency in EPIC EMR system
- Strong clinical skills in acute care and postoperative management
- Ability to handle complex procedures and support cardiac surgical teams
- Excellent communication and team collaboration skills
- Flexibility to work 24-hour shifts including weekends and on-call capacity
Nice to Have Skills:
- Experience in vein harvesting procedures
- Previous exposure to cardiac or thoracic surgical environments
- Additional certifications in advanced cardiovascular support or related fields
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program
- Proven track record of at least 3 years in a cardiothoracic or acute care setting
Other Requirements:
- Valid state licensure as a Physician Assistant
- Board certification in Physician Assistant studies
- Willingness to work 24-hour shift rotations and follow hospital protocols
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and evolving clinical environment
