Required Skills:
- Certification as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA)
- Valid PA license in the state
- DEA certification
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in vascular or surgical care
- Proficiency in performing consults, rounding, and assisting in the OR as applicable
- Strong clinical assessment and patient management skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Nice to Have Skills:
- Prior experience with EPIC EMR systems
- Experience in a hospital setting with adult patient populations
- Ability to independently manage patient caseloads
- Familiarity with vascular procedures and postoperative care
- Additional certifications in advanced vascular practice or surgery
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Certified PA or NP with active licensure
- At least 1 year of vascular or surgical practice experience, preferably in a hospital environment
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams
Other Requirements:
- Availability for full-time coverage, 4 days per week (4x10-hour shifts from 07:00 to 17:00)
- Ability to support inpatient care for approximately 20 patients daily
- Credentialing completion within 90 days; temporary privileges available for qualified candidates
- Support staff includes nursing and resident team members
- Travel and licensing reimbursements applicable when necessary
