We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Surgery Vascular Physician Assistant to join our dynamic vascular surgery team at a leading hospital. Required Skills:
  • Certification as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA)
  • Valid PA license in the state
  • DEA certification
  • Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in vascular or surgical care
  • Proficiency in performing consults, rounding, and assisting in the OR as applicable
  • Strong clinical assessment and patient management skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities

Nice to Have Skills:
  • Prior experience with EPIC EMR systems
  • Experience in a hospital setting with adult patient populations
  • Ability to independently manage patient caseloads
  • Familiarity with vascular procedures and postoperative care
  • Additional certifications in advanced vascular practice or surgery

Preferred Education and Experience:
  • Certified PA or NP with active licensure
  • At least 1 year of vascular or surgical practice experience, preferably in a hospital environment
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams

Other Requirements:
  • Availability for full-time coverage, 4 days per week (4x10-hour shifts from 07:00 to 17:00)
  • Ability to support inpatient care for approximately 20 patients daily
  • Credentialing completion within 90 days; temporary privileges available for qualified candidates
  • Support staff includes nursing and resident team members
  • Travel and licensing reimbursements applicable when necessary
