Job Responsibilities
- Assist in surgical oncology and general surgery cases in both inpatient and outpatient settings
- Act as first assist in operating room procedures, particularly on designated block and case days
- Manage patient consultations and calls, ensuring comprehensive care
- Collaborate effectively with surgical teams and contribute to patient treatment plans
Qualifications
- Must be a Certified Physician Assistant with an active CA license and DEA
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in surgical settings required
- Strong operational familiarity with the OR and independent inpatient experience
- Robotics experience and certification preferred
- Must have completed at least 25 general cases and 5 OR cases
Working Hours
- Monday, Wednesday, Thursday: Varied shifts, including block days for major cases
- Tuesday, Friday: Approximately 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, with potential early completion by 2:00 PM – 3:00 PM

- Proficient in surgical assisting with strong OR skills
