Overview:
St. Mary’s Healthcare is seeking a Per Diem Surgical Physician Assistant to join our collaborative surgical team. The PA will assist in the operating room, provide perioperative care, and support surgical consults across a variety of procedures. This is an excellent opportunity for a surgical PA seeking part-time hours, meaningful surgical experience, and a team-based environment.

Job Responsibilities
- Perform preoperative and postoperative assessments, including documentation, education, and discharge planning
- Coordinate follow-up care and ensure proper documentation in EMR
- Assist in managing surgical patients across general surgery and subspecialty services
- Participate in team meetings, quality initiatives, and performance improvement activities
Qualifications
Preferred Experience - 1+ years of surgical experience preferred but not required
Education - Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant program
