An exciting opportunity is available for a skilled Physician Assistant – CT Surgery / CVI in Monroeville. This role offers a balanced mix of inpatient surgical coverage and outpatient clinic responsibilities within a dynamic cardiovascular program.
Ideal for a board-certified PA with experience in cardiothoracic and cardiovascular surgery, this position provides hands-on involvement in complex cardiac cases while working alongside a collaborative surgical team in both hospital and clinic settings.
Job Responsibilities
• Provide inpatient rounding and perioperative patient management
• Conduct pre-operative and post-operative evaluations
• Manage outpatient cardiovascular follow-up visits
• Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, and multidisciplinary teams
• Ensure accurate and timely EMR documentation
• Participate in patient education and discharge planning
Qualifications
• Active Pennsylvania PA license – Required
• DEA license – Required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) – Required
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) – Required
• Prior cardiothoracic or cardiovascular surgery experience preferred
Working Hours
• 5 days per week
• 4 inpatient/surgical days per week
• 1 outpatient clinic day per week

• Strong perioperative and inpatient management skills
• Excellent communication and team collaboration
• Ability to work in high-acuity surgical environments
• EMR documentation accuracy
