Locums | Orthopedic Surgery PA | Clinic + Call | Coos Bay, OR Why This Role

  • Full-time orthopedic coverage with broad scope of practice
  • High procedural volume with OR and inpatient exposure
  • Independent role with strong physician collaboration
Assignment Details Start ASAP with ongoing coverage Full-time schedule, Sunday–Saturday work week Night, weekend, and 24-hour call required Overtime applies after 40 hours Temporary privileges available Clinical Details Daily rounds and inpatient orthopedic care Primary orthopedic call for ED and inpatient units Assist in surgery including first assist and closures Perform diagnostic studies including EMG, EKG, CT, MRI Perform procedures including reductions, injections, splints, wound care Manage admissions, discharges, H&Ps, and care plans Epic EMR with required onboarding training Requirements Board Certified PA Active Oregon license Full-time availability required NPDB self-query required at submission CAQH credentials required at offer Comfort working independently in high-acuity settings Compensation Rates: Facility is accepting bids Malpractice: Provided Travel: Reimbursed
