Position OverviewA large, well-established multispecialty group in the Bronx is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to support a growing vascular surgery and vascular medicine service line. This is a permanent position offering the opportunity to work collaboratively with vascular surgeons in outpatient, inpatient, and procedural settings while managing patients with complex arterial and venous disease.
Clinical Responsibilities-
Perform comprehensive patient histories, physical examinations, and vascular assessments

Evaluate and manage patients with vascular conditions, including:

Peripheral arterial disease (PAD)
-
Venous insufficiency and DVT
-
Carotid artery disease
-
Aneurysmal disease
-
Chronic wounds
-
-
Order, review, and interpret diagnostic studies, including:
-
Vascular ultrasound
-
ABI/PVR studies
-
CTA/MRA
-
Laboratory testing
-
-
Assist with pre-operative and post-operative care for vascular procedures
-
Conduct hospital rounds and manage inpatient consults, as applicable
-
Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with vascular surgeons
-
Prescribe medications and adjust therapies in accordance with clinical protocols

Provide patient education on disease processes, procedures, and post-treatment care
-
Coordinate care with referring providers, imaging, wound care, and ancillary services
-
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and service line growth efforts
-
Document all clinical encounters accurately and timely in the EMR

Multispecialty group practice

Outpatient clinics with inpatient and procedural exposure, as applicable
-
Multiple practice locations throughout the Bronx
-
Board-certified or board-eligible Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant

Prior experience in vascular surgery, vascular medicine, cardiology, or general surgery

Experience in outpatient vascular clinics and/or procedural settings
-
Familiarity with EPIC or similar EMR systems
-
BLS and ACLS certification
-
Bilingual Spanish is a plus, not required

Competitive salary: $140,000–$160,000 annually
