Job Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with attending physicians to assess and implement patient care plans.
  • Participate in daily rounds and multidisciplinary team meetings.
  • Conduct diagnostic and therapeutic procedures including joint aspirations, minor surgical procedures, and splint applications.
  • Assist in surgeries with responsibilities including deep and superficial tissue closures.
  • Manage inpatient care and serve as primary orthopedic call for the Emergency Department.

Qualifications

  • Board Certified Physician Assistant
  • Active Oregon license
  • Must be available full-time
  • Meets criteria for Medical Staff membership
  • NPDB Self-query and CAQH login required at time of submission

Working Hours

  • Night and weekend shifts
  • On-call coverage during weekdays, weekends, and holidays

Skills

  • Proficiency with electronic health records for documentation and order entry.
  • Ability to work independently and manage stressful or emergent situations effectively.
