Position Overview:
Seeking a dedicated and skilled Physician Assistant to join the Surgical team
Full-time, employed position
Comfortable serving as First Assist in the OR
Supports pre- and post-operative care in the clinic setting
Role Responsibilities:
Work closely with the Chief of Surgery, Vascular Surgeons, and Oncology Surgeons
Act as First Assist in the operating room
Perform pre-operative evaluations
Conduct post-operative follow-up visits
Assist with inpatient rounding as needed
Coordinate communication with referring and primary care providers to ensure continuity of care
Qualifications:
Current New York State Physician Assistant license
National certification (NCCPA)
Valid DEA license
BLS and ACLS certification
Strong clinical assessment and communication skills
Compensation and Benefits:
Salary range: $115,000 – $135,000
