Responsibilities and Duties
- Perform rounding on cardiovascular and thoracic surgery patients
- Act as first assist in surgical procedures
- Conduct vein harvesting during surgical cases
- Participate in a rotating call schedule
- Utilize Maquet Hemopro 2 device as required
- Document and manage patient information using Epic EMR
Additional Information
- NCCPA certification required
- Must be licensed as a Physician Assistant in Ohio
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications required
- Recent experience with Maquet Hemopro 2 is essential
- Estimated credentialing period is 2-3 weeks
