Responsibilities and Duties
- Serve as first assist in general and orthopedic surgical cases
- Perform all duties in the operating room; no inpatient rounding required
- Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Maintain accurate documentation within the Epic EMR
Additional Information
- Active California license required
- Board certification in Surgery required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
- Previous experience with first assisting in both general and orthopedic cases is essential
- Familiarity with Epic EMR preferred
