Join a high-acuity trauma and acute care surgery team as a full-time Nocturnist PA, providing advanced overnight surgical and trauma care. This is a permanent, non-locum role ideal for experienced PAs seeking clinical autonomy, professional growth, and long-term stability in a collaborative, top-tier environment.
Job Responsibilities
• Provide overnight trauma and acute care surgery coverage
• Manage trauma admissions and emergency general surgery patients
• Perform patient evaluations, develop care plans, and interpret diagnostics
• Assist surgeons with procedures, resuscitations, and operative support
• Document all care using EPIC EMR
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support quality and safety initiatives
Qualifications
• NCCPA Certified PA-C – Required
• Active, unrestricted Colorado PA license – Required
• BLS certification – Required
• Eligible for DEA & Medicare/Medicaid enrollment
• 2+ years of trauma surgery experience or completion of a surgical fellowship – Preferred
• Clean malpractice and license history
Working Hours
• 12-hour overnight shifts
• 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Full-time nocturnist position
