Job Details

- Schedule: 5-10 shifts per month; 14 (12 hour) shifts monthly; 7am-5:30pm and 5:30pm-7am
Responsibilities and Duties
- Perform advanced trauma life support procedures
- Demonstrate proficiency with tube thoracostomy and central venous catheter placement; arterial line placement preferred
- Manage acute surgical and trauma cases in collaboration with the surgical team
- Provide comprehensive patient care in accordance with ATLS protocols
- Accurately document clinical findings and care in Cerner EMR
- Maintain compliance with all relevant board and state requirements
Additional Information
- Active NC license and board certification in Surgery required
- Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) and DEA certification required
- No new graduates; prior trauma experience expected
