Locums | General Surgery NP/PA | Inpatient – No Call | Walla Walla, WA (IMLC accepted) Why This Role

  • Full-time weekday General Surgery APP role with no weekends or call
  • Hands-on OR and inpatient experience supporting a busy surgical team
  • Collaborative environment with Epic EMR and Level 3 trauma designation
Assignment Details Start Date: 03/02/2026 End Date: Ongoing Coverage Type: No Call Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8a–4:30p Practice Setting: Inpatient Patients per Day: ~7 EMR: Epic Trauma Level: 3 Call Details: None OT: Applies after 40 hours per week Requirements Board Certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Active Washington license or IMLC accepted Experienced first assist in general surgery (required) Clean history Clinical Details Scope: Assist with surgical procedures and provide perioperative inpatient care Responsibilities: - OR first assist for general surgery cases - Daily rounding and progress notes - Prepare discharges and coordinate care plans - Communicate with multidisciplinary teams and patients Support Staff: - RNs, APPs, and office staff as assigned Environment: Collaborative surgical service supporting inpatient and perioperative units Compensation Rate Cap: $95/hr Malpractice: Provided Travel: Reimbursed
