Eastern Connecticut hospital is seeking a Surgical Physician Assistant to join their team. This hospital-employed role primarily focuses on orthopedic surgery, with opportunities to assist across other specialties as needed. Job Description:
Compensation : $130000 - $160000 Job ID : 41076
Job Function:
- Day Shift.
- 7AM - 3PM.
Provide first assist in surgical procedures, primarily orthopedic cases, with occasional support in other specialties as needed.
Support pre-operative and post-operative care, including clinic responsibilities alongside surgical duties.
Work closely with a hospital-based team, joining two other Surgical PAs across one hospital and one clinic location.
Be in the OR 3–4 days per week, assisting with approximately 25–30 cases weekly.
Job Requirements:
- PAs or NPs with 1 + years of Surgery and 1st assist experience.
- Ortho experienced is preferred.
- Must be board certified.
- Must have a CT license.
