Job Details
- Location: Pennsylvania
- Start Date: Jan 26, 2026
- LOA: 120 days
- Provider Type Needed: Cardiovascular and Thoracic Surgery Physician Assistant
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7am-5pm in-house; night call from 5pm-7am; weekend call every 2-3 weekends (Friday 5pm through Monday 7am, all from home); 36-40 hours per week plus weekend calls; 4-10s schedule is ideal
Responsibilities and Duties
- Perform first assist duties in the operating room for cardiovascular and thoracic surgical cases
- Utilize Marquet equipment and endoscopic vessel harvesting (EVH)
- Provide support in the ICU as needed in addition to primary OR duties
- Take call from home during nights and weekends as scheduled
- Ensure patient safety and adherence to clinical protocols
Additional Information
- Active Pennsylvania PA license required (not accepting NLC)
- Board certified or board eligible in Thoracic and Cardiac Surgery
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications required
- Not a PRN position; ongoing full-time coverage needed
