APP General Surgery opening in Illinois
Full time
Freeport, Il
The NP/PA will see patients in the office for surgical consultations, pre-operative appointments, post-operative appointments, and will round with patients at the hospital. This position also includes assisting the general surgeon in the operating room.
Position Highlights
• Collaborative Team: Join a fantastic team and partner with a full-time General Surgeon and a dedicated NP/PA
• Diverse Role: This is a comprehensive role that includes both clinic-based patient care and surgical first-assist duties in the operating room
• Established Practice: Step into an established medical group with a built-in referral base
• Supportive Environment: Work with an experienced and well-trained surgical staff, including a Nurse Navigator, to ensure seamless patient care
Requirements
• Employed, full-time position
• Unrestricted Illinois license
• Certification as RNFA or equivalent, in addition to licensure
• General Surgery Experience preferred: We seek candidates with specialized knowledge to contribute immediately to our General Surgery practice
