Join a high-performing surgical team at two Level II Trauma Centers and showcase your robotic first-assist skills! This is a high-paying locum role with a flexible schedule, no call, and a supportive OR environment – perfect for experienced PAs seeking a rewarding assignment.
Job Responsibilities
• Placement & closure of ports
• Assist with occasional non-robotic surgical cases
• Handle discharge documentation & outpatient prescriptions when needed
Qualifications
• Active Michigan License – Required
• BLS & ACLS (AHA) – Required
• 2–3 years of robotic bedside first-assist experience (GYN, urology, general surgery, bariatrics)
• Cerner EMR experience – Preferred
Working Hours
• 8-hour shifts: 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. (flexible start/end times)
• No call & no weekends!
Skills
• Proficiency in surgical port placement & closures
• Excellent teamwork and communication
