Work with Greenstaff Medical, a premier medical staffing agency to fill a locum General Surgery role, in Oakland County, MI!
Job details:
- Coverage: ASAP – 31 December 2025 with the option to remain credentialed for PRN afterward
- Practice setting: Hospital-based OR with more than 20 operating rooms and 3 DaVinci robots
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8-hour shifts (approx. 7:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m., flexible start/end times), 40 hours per week
- Responsibilities:
- Bedside first-assisting in robotic surgical cases (GYN, urology, general surgery, bariatrics)
- Placement of ports and closure of port sites
- Occasional assistance in non-robotic cases as needed
- Occasional discharges/depart documentation and outpatient prescriptions
- EMR: Cerner
You will not be eligible for this unless you meet the following requirements:
- Board Certified (NCCPA) – REQUIRED
- BLS & ACLS – REQUIRED
- MI state license – REQUIRED
- Minimum 2–3 years with robotic bedside first-assist experience in GYN, urology, general surgery, and bariatrics - REQUIRED
