General Surgery PA Locums Job in North Carolina | Full Time or Part Time Coverage | Assignment #110475
Coverage Needed: Emergency General Surgery PA 7/1/25- 12/31/2025. Full Time and Part Time opportunities available (either three 12-hour shifts or four 10-hour shifts).
Schedule: Day shift (7:00-17:00), Monday - Thursday
Requirements:
--North Carolina license
--NC DEA
--Board Certified
--Desired experience with acute surgical conditions: abdominal pain, appendicitis, GB disease, bowel obstruction, hernias, diverticulitis, pancreatitis, perforated viscus, soft tissue infection
Assignment Details:
--Work with the team to round on pre-operative and post-operative floor patients, assist with seeing new consults, facilitate patient care, and may be asked to help in post-operative clinic. This is primarily a non-operative role.
--Support Staff: Daily staffing for Emergency General Surgery service is 1 attending surgeon, one upper level resident (PGY 4/5), and one junior level resident (PGY 1/2).
--EMR: Cerner
