Perm General Surgery Physician Assistant - OH

Our client in Hancock County, OH is in need of a General Surgery Physician Assistant for a full-time assignment!

Job details:

• Start - ASAP
• Assisting the surgeon in the operating room during general surgery procedures
• Rounding on postoperative patients and managing inpatient consults
• Writing daily progress notes and collaborating with physicians on treatment plans
• Conducting physical exams and managing acute surgical and critical care conditions
• Placing preoperative orders for scheduled surgical cases
• Evaluating simple clinic consults and recommending appropriate surgical or endoscopy plans
• Discussing post-operative care plans with patients and their families
• Utilizing and interpreting imaging modalities such as Ultrasound and CT in patient care
• Answering patient calls and inquiries during regular business hours (Monday–Friday)
• Contributing to a flexible and collaborative surgical practice open to professional growth

Job Requirements:

• Active Board-Certified Physician Assistant - REQUIRED *no exemptions
• OH license (or willing to obtain) - REQUIRED
• Clean malpractice and license - REQUIRED
• Date of agency's last communication with provider (put answer in "Additional Submission Details") - REQUIRED
