Dignity Health Medical Group (DHMG) employs approximately 200 providers and 500 support staff that cover a wide variety of specialties. The medical group has had tremendous success over the past few years and now provides more than 73 subspecialty services. The physicians provide clinical services in their areas of specialty and many serve in pivotal academic research and leadership roles.DHMG is also heavily involved in preparing tomorrows healthcare providers. DHMG has 84 medical school students and approximately 200 residents and fellows throughout the 25 academic programs. Clinical services are complemented with translational and bench research to augment medical education for residents and students. SUMMARY - Provides diagnostic and therapeutic services to trauma and general surgery patients under the supervision and responsibility of a Physician. Participates in education, development and growth of St. Joseph's Trauma and General Surgery Service.

MINIMUM

Background in pre-med. Degree as a Physician Assistant

Minimum 3 years clinical experience in related area

Must hold and maintain:
(1) AZ Regulatory Board of Physician
Assistants License,
(2) NCCPA - National Commission on
Certification of Physician Assistant,
(3) Valid DEA registration,
(4) American Heart Association Advanced
Cardiovascular Life Support
(5) American Heart Association Basic Life
Support for the healthcare provider,
(6) American Heart Association Pediatric
Advanced Life Support, and
(7) Advanced Trauma Life Support.
