- Will float at 3 locations, CAMC Memorial Hospital , CAMC General Hospital , and CAMC Thoracic & Esophageal Surgery
Schedule
- Clinic: Tues, Thurs, Friday.
- Call: Mon, Wednesday. 7a-3p. (Rounding, writing notes, and discharging.)
- Weekends: 7a- 12p. Can be flexible on hours
Clinical Details
- Patients per day: 25+
- All ages ranging from 18- geriatric. Insured, noninsured, and private pay
- Department description: Ambulatory Thoracic and Esophageal Surgery
- Technology: Microsoft, Cerner, AMS connect
- Ambulatory Surgery Center and Hospital
Requirements
- Board Certification: Thoracic + Esophageal Surgery
- Active WV License
- DEA
- BLS; AHA
- ACLS- AHA - Preferred
- Must be good with writing notes and able to have good discharge summaries
- Special procedures: Pulling chest tube, part flushes, S-P drain removal, anticoagulant bridging for perioperative. Staple/Suture removal, general knowledge, chest tube management
- Skills Required: Respiratory, GI assessments, gen knowledge, PET, CT X-rays, managing chest tubes including pulling; spirometry, multitasking
