A 500+ staffed bed facility, not a trauma center is seeking a general surgery physician assistant for locum tenens coverage. They use EPIC EMR system.
While on assignment in eastern Kansas, visit Elk City State Park or Prarie Spirit Trail State Park for beautiful walking trails and views!
The schedule is 8am 4:30pm, Monday Friday. One weekend/month the schedule is 7:30am 3:30pm. No surgery is required. The floor has typically around 5-8 patients and ICU typically has 1 patient. The clinic has 8-10 patients. The clinician will support chart prep, see post-op patients, and see new patients before the physician. Patients are 18+.
