Job Summary:

Portsmouth Regional Hospital has an excellent opportunity for a hospital-based Physician Assistant to provide orthopedic trauma coverage at a level II trauma hospital in Portsmouth, NH. This is an exceptional opportunity for an orthopedic PA who wishes to urtilize their experience, skills, and potential.

Description and Qualifications:
  • Excellent to practice with level of autonomy, and in collaboration with the on-call orthopedic surgeon
  • Weekdays 3 pm - 11 pm shift to cover fully hospital on-site orthopedic trauma with no call coverage
  • Rounding, consults, orthopedic ER coverage and some OR 1st assist when needed
  • Must be self-motiviated
  • Orthopedic experience is valued and needed. Triage skills and time management atpness required
  • Must demonstrate quality professional interpersonal skills to communicate well with clinical teams, departments, nursting staff
  • New Hampshire licensure or ability to obtain
  • NCCPA certified
