Candidate Requirements
- Active PA License or providers who need to obtain a license
- Board Status: Board Certified, Board Eligible
- Required Certifications: ACLS, ATLS, BLS, PALS
- Minimum Years’ Experience (if applicable): 1
Job Information
- Typical Day: Responds to trauma activations daily rounds progress notes H&Ps and discharge summaries
- 10 bed ICU | there is a doc in ICU at all times during 7a -7p
- Trauma level: II
- Providers will work solo
- Typical cases seen: Falls, MVC, MCC (major complication or Comorbidity)
- Procedures: appys, choley, ex lap, hernia repairs
- Workload: 20-35 inpatient per day/night
- Patient Mix: 5% burn | surgical 45% | 50% trauma
- Other specialties onsite: Neuro Surgery - Ortho - Plastics- Ent- Vascular surgery- Cardiology
- EMR: Cerner
