We are hiring experienced cardiothoracic physician assistants and nurse practitioners with extensive cardiac surgery first assisting experience for contract assignments in Alabama! Hiring for multiple hospitals!

Will consider both part time and full time locum candidates! Alabama offers quick licensure and credentialing is also fast! Start date can be within 4-6 weeks confirmation of assignment!

This position is full continuum of care with primary responsibilities in the operating room!

The candidate will be primarily working in operating room, also hospital rounding and half day per week of clinic.

Department Patient Information:

• OR Cases per day: 2-3
• Patients seen in the clinic per day: 5-12
• Patients seen on the floor: Average 6-10

Required Procedures/Skills: EVH – What type of EVH System ( Maquet, Hemopro, Terumo )

CABG, TAVR, AAA, AVR, MVR Any other types of cases – NO - Bedside procedures – Standard Skills

Certifications: ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support; BLS - Basic Life Support
