REQUIRED PROCEDURES

• Post-operative care for all types of cardiothoracic and vascular patients
• Emergency surgery on cardiothoracic and vascular patients
• Taking consults/referrals from ED, Cath Lab and hospital providers
• Vein harvesting and retrieval of vascular tissues for bypass conduit
• Assist in surgery, write prescriptions, coordinate care, round, interpret/order tests

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Board: BC in Vascular Surgery
• Licenses: Active OH license or compact license
• DEA: Active DEA
• Certifications: ACLS
• Experience: Minimum 5 years in Cardiothoracic and Vascular surgery services
• Other Qualifications: Clean background/no malpractice or license issues, EMR proficiency (Epic)

• Provide post-operative care for cardiothoracic and vascular surgery patients
• Assist in cardiothoracic and vascular surgeries
• Manage patient rounding and coordination of care
• Interpret diagnostic tests and order appropriate treatments
• Perform vein harvesting and retrieval of vascular tissues
