Physician Assistant - Surgery Cardiothoracic

We’re currently seeking a Physician Assistant -Surgery Cardiothoracic to join our amazing team.

Details of the Opening:

• Start Date: As soon as credentialed
• Contract Length: 3-6 months, ongoing
• Outpatient/Hospital
• Schedule: Night shift 6p-6:30a, no call. no OR coverage, At least 2 shifts needed per week
  
• Support staff: CTS surgery team. They will be the solo PA on site during the night shift
  
• Procedures: PA will perform these standardized procedures in these areas: Critical Care Dept, ER, Telemetry Units, Med-surg units and outpatient clinic. Must be able to perform all simple procedures as well as some advanced procedures such as removal of wound pump, removal of pacing wire, etc.
• Patients per day: 15-25. Varies on day
• Patient population: Adults, no Peds
• EMR: Epic

Requirements:

• Board Certification: Required
• License Required: CA license required
• DEA: Required
• Certifications Required: BLS, ACLS
• Minimum Experience Required: 1-2 years Credentialing Timeframe: 60 days. Expedited will be considered on an as needed basis.
