Youβll function as a trauma hospitalist rounder, playing a vital role in the care of patients across a wide range of conditions β all in a Level I trauma setting.

π₯ Practice Setting
This role is primarily inpatient trauma service coverage, with opportunities to assist in emergency and procedural care.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Daily rounding and management of admitted trauma patients
- Acting as attending-level provider for inpatient conditions
- Responding to trauma alerts in the Emergency Department
- Facilitating admissions and discharges
- Occasional ED consults and trauma activations
Youβll be an essential part of keeping trauma care flowing efficiently and safely.
π©Ί Patient Volume
- 10β14 non-ICU patients per day
- 6 ICU patients when covering critical care
- 2β15 admissions per 24 hours depending on service needs
π§ Preferred Clinical Skills
While not all procedures are required, experience with the following is highly valued:
- Ventilation management (including BiPAP/CPAP)
- Chest tube placement
- Central and arterial line insertion
- Suturing minor lacerations

Epic documentation system.
π Ideal Candidate
Weβre seeking an APP who:
β Is Board Certified (ACNP, AGNP, or PA-C)
β Has at least 1 year of inpatient APP experience
β Has trauma, ICU, or surgical experience
β Is confident working autonomously in a hospital setting
β Holds ATLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
β Has an active Minnesota license
