🫀 Cardiothoracic Surgery Physician Assistant – Locum Opportunity
📍 Toledo, OH
✨ We’re seeking a skilled Physician Assistant with Cardiothoracic Surgery experience for a locum role supporting a high-acuity surgical service. If you thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced clinical environment — this is for you!
🏥 Facility Setting
Inpatient Post-Op Surgical Floor & ICU + Some Office/Rounding 🏨
⏰ Schedule

Mon–Fri | 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM (10 days per month) ⏱️

On-Call: 10 days/month 📞
-
Weekend Coverage: 2 weekends/month 📅

Work autonomously with physician support available 24/7

Average ~12 patients/day 👥

Adult & Geriatric population

Level I trauma environment 🚑

EMR: EPIC 💻
🛠️ Key Responsibilities
✔ Suture removal ✂️
✔ Diagnose & treat illnesses 🩺
✔ Order & interpret tests 🧪
✔ Prescribe medications ✍️
✔ Coordinate care & rounding 🤝
✔ Conduct pre-op physical exams 🫁
✅ Requirements

NCCPA Certified 🏅

Active Ohio PA License
-
BLS & ACLS Certified
-
Relevant Cardiothoracic Surgery experience
