Locums NP/PA – Cardiothoracic & Vascular Surgery | Charlotte, North Carolina

A hospital-based cardiothoracic and vascular surgery service in Charlotte, North Carolina is seeking an NP or PA for locum tenens coverage. This is a night-shift inpatient role with no call and a structured 7-on/7-off schedule, supporting post-operative and vascular patients in a collaborative care model.

Assignment Details ASAP start Ongoing need 7-on / 7-off schedule 12-hour night shifts, 7:00 p.m. – 7:00 a.m.

Practice Setting Inpatient only Hospital Stroke Certified 30-bed facility

Clinical Responsibilities Coverage of cardiothoracic and vascular surgery patients Admissions required Management of 10–20 patients per shift

Vascular surgery patients include ICU co-management with critical care and floor patients Cardiothoracic surgery patients are floor-only No CT surgery ICU coverage required CT surgery patients are primary service on the floor Post-op CTICU patients are managed by critical care teams and transitioned to this service upon step-down

Call No call No OR or surgical responsibilities

Requirements Board Certified – Required Active North Carolina license – Required ACLS and BLS – Required
