JOB DESCRIPTION:
Medical Center in North Carolina is seeking an experienced Cardiology APP to serve the needs of the community. Two years of CT surgery PA experience preferred. Attractive compensation and benefits package offered.
About the Position:
- Advanced cardiac program offers minimally invasive procedures, TAVR, CABG, robotic surgery, lung procedures and more
- Four PA team supports three talented surgeons
- Responsibilities include first assist, post-op care with ICU management, and clinic
- Monday – Friday schedule with 1:3 call
Position-specific knowledge and skills required:
- Proficient with saphenous vein harvest (open and endoscopic) and tube thoracostomy
- Management of ventilators and critically ill patients
- In-depth knowledge of and experience in titrating inotropic and pressor medications
- Efficient with placement of central lines, arterial lines (femoral, radial), Swan-Ganz catheters, and chest tubes
