🕒 Schedule

• Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM

• Call: 1–2 evenings/week (operating call from home)

• Assignment Dates: 2/1/26 – 5/1/26

🔧 Key Responsibilities

• 🫁 Chest tube insertions

• 🩸 Vein harvesting / retrieval of vascular tissues for bypass

• 🫀 1st assist in Cardiothoracic Surgery

• Mix of OR, ICU, and floor coverage

• EMR: Epic

📋 Requirements

• ✔️ NCCPA Certification – REQUIRED

• ✔️ Active NY State PA License – REQUIRED

• ✔️ BLS & ACLS – REQUIRED

• ✔️ Cardiac surgery operating experience (including 1st assist & vein harvest)

• ➕ Robotic experience (bonus!)

👨‍⚕️ Supervision & Setting

• Surgical Level: Trauma Level II

• Supervising Physician: Onsite

• Patient Population: Adults

• Autonomy Level: Collaborative (not autonomous)
