OR shifts: 7:00am–5:00pm weekdays

1 overnight call on weekdays

Weekend call: Friday 5:00pm – Monday 7:00am
Position Overview: This CV Surgery PA locums role provides coverage across the ICU, PCU, and OR. The provider will first assist in cardiac surgeries, including vein harvesting, and provide support for a high-volume cardiovascular service.
Daily Breakdown / Responsibilities:

First Assist for CV surgeries
-
Vein harvesting using Vaso View Hemo Pro 2 system
-
ICU and PCU coverage
-
Support for 2 surgeons, alongside 4 PAs and 1 NP
Facility Details:
-
Bed count: 330
-
Annual CV surgery volume: 450–500 procedures/year

EMR: Meditech ECW
Requirements:
-
3–5 years’ experience in a CVOR
-
First Assist capable, including vein harvesting

In-house coverage preferred (some on-call flexibility possible)
