An established and growing cardiac surgery team in Kissimmee, Florida is seeking an experienced Cardiothoracic Surgery Physician Assistant to join a collaborative and dynamic group dedicated to providing exceptional cardiovascular care. This position offers the opportunity to work alongside a highly skilled team of surgeons and advanced practice providers in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Position Highlights:
- Join a team of 2 cardiothoracic surgeons and 5 APPs
- Perform as a surgical first assist in cardiac and thoracic procedures
- Endoscopic Vein Harvest (EVH) experience required
- Exposure to advanced heart failure technologies (LVAD, Impella, ECMO, heart transplant) is a plus
- Participate in a 1:4 call rotation, including one weekend per month
- Employed position with competitive compensation, comprehensive benefits, and 401(k)
Qualifications:
- Must be a board-certified Physician Assistant
- Surgical first assist and EVH experience required
- Prior cardiothoracic or cardiac surgery experience strongly preferred
- Strong clinical judgment, teamwork, and communication skills
