Locum Tenens – Cardiothoracic PA Opportunity in Orlando, Florida
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced, board-certified Physician Assistant (PA) with an active Florida license to join a busy and growing Cardiothoracic Surgery service line in Orlando. This is a locum tenens assignment working alongside a highly collaborative team of APPs and surgeons.
Assignment Details
- Start Date: Within 30–60 days
- Duration: 3–4 months
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 40 hours per week, plus call as needed
- Setting: Clinic, OR, and CVICU coverage
- EMR: EPIC
- First assist in the operating room, including vein harvest procedures
- Support the cardiothoracic surgical team in clinic, inpatient, and ICU settings
- Work closely with a collegial group of APPs and surgeons in a robust service line experiencing significant growth
- Board-certified Physician Assistant
- Active Florida license required
- OR first assist experience with proven vein harvest skills
