The Cardiothoracic Advanced Practice locum tenens opportunity in Michigan…

-Location: Michigan (2 hours north of Detroit)

-Duration: June – December (on-going, potential for extension)

-Schedule: full-time (may consider 1-4 weeks per month)

-Shift: Monday – Friday, 7a-5p (1 day of clinic, 4 days of inpatient/OR)

-Call: 1:3

-Patients: 3-8 OR cases per week. CVICU is a 10-bed unit

-Scope: rounding, consults, first assist, vein harvesting (required)

-EMR: Epic (option for dragon dictation)

-Group: 3 cardiovascular surgeons, 2 other advanced practice providers

-Hospital: 324 beds, level II trauma center

-Requirements: Board certified with Michigan or compact license, one year of cardiothoracic surgery experience and case logs within 12 months
