Seeking an experienced Physician Assistant to join a Cardiothoracic Surgery practice in central Florida. The employed PA’s will work in an outpatient setting to include new patient visits and post surgical follow up visits. The PA’s will also be utilized as Surgical First Assists. A minimum of one year of Cardiothoracic Surgery or Cardiovascular Disease experience is required. Competitive compensation and benefits package.
The practice offers state-of-the-art cardiovascular and thoracic surgery services for adult patients including Coronary Artery Bypass Grafting (CABG), Valve Repair and Replacement, aortic surgery, arrhythmia surgery, general thoracic surgery including robotic lobectomy, and a variety of vascular and endovascular procedures. Hospital is also looking to grow a Transcatheter Aortic Valve Replacement (TAVR) program (performed 22 cases in 2015). The cardiac program has been recognized as an STS 3-Star program for CABG for most of its history and consistently produces excellent patient outcomes.
