Highly successful radiology program in Detroit, Michigan is looking to add a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to their growing team! Candidates must have a background in radiology and have experience working in the interventional radiology field as a PA or NP in order to be considered. Strong surgical candidates with a specific interest in the IR field or a background as an RT may also be considered.

Responsibilities:

  • Full-time position - Interventional Radiology
  • Monday-Friday - 8 AM to 4 PM
  • No call, no evenings, and no weekends
  • Collaborate with a fantastic team board-certified radiologists
  • Perform procedures such as thoracentesis, paracentesis, placement and removal of PICC lines, tunneled catheters and ports, CT guided biopsies, ultrasound-guided biopsies, and more
  • Obtain comprehensive health histories and perform complete physical examinations during hospitalization
  • Develop patient treatment plans and educate patients about discharge care
  • Communicate patient status information, attend daily rounds, and document progress in the electronic medical record

Qualifications:

  • Michigan Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner License
  • BLS/ACLS Certified
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Proficient with EMR systems
