Our client in the Seattle, Washington area is seeking an experienced physician assistant or nurse practitioner to join their thriving, growing radiology group! Candidates must have at least one year of experience in diagnostic radiology or interventional radiology to be considered for this opportunity. Responsibilities:

• Full time position - diagnostic and interventional radiology

• Collaborate with a fantastic team of PA and NP providers and board-certified radiologists

• Mix of outpatient and inpatient consultations and rounding

• Perform procedures such as: thoracentesis, paracentesis, tunneled HD catheter placement/removal, port placement/removal, PICC placement/removal, tunneled chest and abdomen Pleurx catheter placement/removal, ultrasound guided chest tube placement/removal, and more

• Obtain comprehensive health histories, and perform complete physical examinations during hospitalization

• Develop patient treatment plans and educate patients about discharge care

• Communicate patient status information, attend daily rounds, and document progress in the electronic medical record

Qualifications:

• Active Washington Physician Assistant License

• Active DEA License

• BLS/ACLS Certified

• Ability to build rapport with patients

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
