Highly successful radiology practice in the Dallas, Texas area is seeking an experienced physician assistant to join their growing team! Ideal candidates will have a background working in radiology, however candidates with experience in surgery, emergency medicine, critical care, etc. are also strongly encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities:
- Full-time permanent position - Interventional Radiology
- Monday-Friday schedule
- Collaborate with a strong team board-certified radiologists and work alongside a team of established APPs
- Perform procedures such as thoracentesis, paracentesis, placement and removal of PICC lines, tunneled catheters and ports, CT guided biopsies, ultrasound-guided biopsies, and more
- Obtain comprehensive health histories and perform complete physical examinations during hospitalization
- Develop patient treatment plans and educate patients about discharge care
- Communicate patient status information, attend daily rounds, and document progress in the electronic medical record
Qualifications:
- Texas Physician Assistant License
- BLS/ACLS Certified
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Proficient with EMR systems
