Highly successful radiology practice in the New York City area is seeking a physician assistant or nurse practitioner to join their growing team!

Ideal candidates will have a background working in radiology, specifically as a radiologic technologist prior to becoming a physician assistant or nurse practitioner. Responsibilities:

  • Full-time permanent position - Interventional Radiology
  • 4 days per week (weekdays only)
  • No nights and no weekends
  • Collaborate with a strong team board-certified radiologists
  • Perform procedures such as PRP injections, therapeutic joint injections & arthrograms, lumbar punctures & myelograms,
    hysterosalpingograms/hysterosonograms, barium GI studies, and thyroid biopsies
  • Educate patients on procedures and the risks & benefits, and discuss possible treatment plans
  • Administer contrast agents and monitor patients during and after their study

Qualifications:

  • New York Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner License
  • ARRT Certified
  • BLS/ACLS Certified
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Proficient with EMR systems
