Highly successful radiology practice in the Central Florida area is seeking an experienced physician assistant or nurse practitioner to join their growing team! Ideal candidates will have a background working in radiology, however candidates with experience in surgery, emergency medicine, critical care, etc. are also strongly encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities:

• Full-time permanent position - Interventional Radiology
• Monday-Friday schedule
• Collaborate with a strong team board-certified radiologists and work alongside a team of established APPs
• Perform procedures such as thoracentesis, paracentesis, placement and removal of PICC lines, tunneled catheters and ports, CT guided biopsies, ultrasound-guided biopsies, and more
• Obtain comprehensive health histories and perform complete physical examinations during hospitalization
• Develop patient treatment plans and educate patients about discharge care
• Communicate patient status information, attend daily rounds, and document progress in the electronic medical record

Qualifications:

• Florida Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner License
• BLS/ACLS Certified
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Proficient with EMR systems
