Schedule
-
Weekdays: Monday–Friday, 8–10-hour in-house shifts
-
Nights: 6:00 p.m. – 6:00 a.m. call
-
Weekends: Friday 6:00 p.m. – Monday 6:00 a.m. (includes rounding 7:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m. Sat & Sun)

Average Volume: 2 surgeries/day; 5–12 rounds/day (ICU and floor, including consults)
Required Procedures
-
Retrieval of vascular tissues for bypass conduit
-
Endoscopic vein harvesting
-
Chest tube insertion
- First assist in cardiac surgery
-
NCCPA Certification – Required
-
Active New Jersey License – Required (cannot accommodate licensing wait)
-
Active CSR – Required
-
Minimum 2–3 years of Cardiothoracic Surgery experience, including proficiency in EVH and first assist – Required
