We are seeking a dedicated Pulmonary Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join a well-established and growing pulmonary medicine practice just south of Boston. Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate, diagnose, and manage patients with acute and chronic pulmonary conditions
- Conduct follow-up visits and ongoing disease management for pulmonary patients
- Order and interpret diagnostic studies, including PFTs, imaging, and laboratory tests
- Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans
- Provide patient education on disease management and preventive care
- Document patient encounters accurately in the electronic medical record
- Collaborate closely with pulmonologists and interdisciplinary care teams
Requirements:
- Master’s degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant Studies from an accredited program
- Current Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant certification
- Massachusetts license or eligibility for licensure
- Prior experience in pulmonary medicine preferred (new graduates with strong interest considered)
- Strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills
- Excellent communication and patient-centered care approach
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
