Pulmonary Critical Care NP/PA (Part-Time) Opening in Virginia Beach/Norfolk, Virginia
Position: Part-Time Advanced Practice Provider (APP)
Specialty: Pulmonary Critical Care
Training: Acute Care Required
FTE: 0.5 (20 hours/week)
Overview:
Seeking a highly skilled and motivated APP with Acute Care training to support ICU services across three hospitals in the Virginia Beach and Norfolk areas. This position offers an exceptional opportunity to work in a collaborative, high-acuity environment with a leading healthcare system.
Responsibilities:
Provide inpatient ICU coverage at three facilities (totaling nearly 100 ICU beds)
Perform advanced bedside procedures: central lines, Udalls, arterial lines, thoracentesis, paracentesis, and chest tube placement
Participate in day and night shifts with a rotating weekend schedule
Minimum of 4 night shifts per month
Schedule:
Day Shift: 8:00 AM 6:00 PM
Night Shift: 6:00 PM 7:00 AM
Weekend Coverage: 1 in 3 rotation
Qualifications:
Acute Care certification and ICU experience required
